I finally have time to give you a writeup again about our past meetings. Jon Bryan of the 917 ( 9-17) Sciety was a great keynote speaker! She shared about her organization that has the goal of placing a U.S. Consititution in the hands of each and every 8th grader! She brought U.S Consitutiions that wil be taken to each of our schools for all of our teachers and 8th graders. She also chared about an upcoming program they satrted that will give reprints of the original Aitkin Bible to churches , along with constitutions.

Rep Ed Butler was our keynote speaker. He not only shared about his key legislation, but also addressed concerned regarding POSSIBLE nuclear waste site in our county, THANK YOU Rep. Butler!

Our Republican Sheriff Candidates, RODNEY INSCO and GARY LEDBETTER were our keynote speakers sharing their vision as sheriff for our county.

Gubernatorial Candidate,MONTY FRITTS was the first to book a date to come share in our county. Thank you Rep Fritts!

Fentress County's own, Mr. EDGE PACANA, Owner of Pacana Tires and the gun shop shared about the importance of knowing and exercising our BILL OF RIGHTS.

We had a Christmas Party as our last event of the year at El Azuls. Many had left when we remembered to take a picture.

Our keynote speaker was "Our Miss Brooks", NATISHA BROOKS, who shared about her academy in Nashville and the importance of the position of local school board members.
Sept 2025
Our keynote speakers were STEVIE & GLORIA GIORNO. Also in attendance was Amy Poteet, Regional representative for the Federation of Republican Women.
Troy Hardy and Ann Grey were announced as new treasurer and Vice Treasurer.

Our keynote speaker was MAVERICK EMBERTON, of Livingston. He spoke about how we could help engage the younger generation in today's political enviornment.
July, 2025
The executive board hit the ground running as we were informed that a decision had to be made regarding primary elections. July's meeting was packed as our TN State Republican (GOP) Chairman, Scott Golden discussed the need for a Republican primary election. He answered many questions and concerns as he shared the importance of primary elections. The meeting was extremely informative and we are grateful that Chairman Golden came from Nashville to hear the correct information directly from the top.

Peggy’s final official event, the Reagan Day Dinner, 2025, as Chairwoman was one she handled with determination and pride. She took personal responsibility for seeing the event through from beginning to end and worked to ensure that everything was handled successfully.
Whatever differences may have existed during the transition, we believe it is important to recognize Peggy for the work she put into the event and the years of service she gave to the Fentress County Republican Party.
