Allardt Elementary School's VERY OWN teacher, CODY HULL will be playing for us. This is a REAL TREAT!!!
Cody is the older brother of Sierra Hull and a talented bluegrass singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Growing up in Byrdstown, Tennessee, the siblings spent their childhood practicing and performing acoustic music together. In 2004, Cody and Sierra performed together on the high-profile Great High Mountain Tour. The tour featured songs from the acclaimed movie soundtracks of O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Cold Mountain.
On September 7, 2002, Cody made his debut on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage alongside his sister, performing as a child-prodigy duo. Stepping out from his sister's musical shadow, Cody launched his solo career with his debut acoustic album titled "Run Away". The project features vocal harmonies and instrumental backing from Sierra Hull, brother-in-law Justin Moses, and Joe Smith. Cody specializes in driving, traditional bluegrass rhythm guitar and clean vocal arrangements.
